We hired DC Construction to update our basement. Living in a home that is over 100 years old, we knew that this job would come with its fair share of 'challenges'. After meeting with Adam and checking his references we signed a fixed bid contract and began work. From day one Adam and his team provided excellent, professional service. Any changes in the scope of the job (additions or deletions) were documented and agreed to by both parties. The entire job took a bit longer than originally planned, but that was primarily due to changes in the scope of the project. The thing that we appreciated most was Adam's attention to detail. DC Construction replaced the flooring throughout our house, renovated 3 bathrooms and the kitchen. They transformed our lack-luster California cathedral ceiling with hanging lights to a spectacular smooth finished spectacle complete with pot lights and skylights. In addition, they added living space by removing a main floor pantry and space efficiently working it into the new kitchen. They also relocated and refined our laundry room. Because of their knowledge and experience, they were able to help us modify our original plan to enable us to reduce costs, while creating a superior look. They pay attention to detail (Adam is a perfectionist), work diligently in a transparent manner and are friendly and dedicated, always “putting the customer first”.
